I agree with all of the replies to this, except the one that says yes. …I was there 10 days last month, and bounced from the mid to the south to the north, yes Vietnam, but nothing like the mainland real Vietnam. Soooo many tourists, most beaches were quite dirty, overpriced restaurants in places, activities overrated. Nice weather, which I was chasing, but I enjoyed the mainland much much more, DaNang and surrounding areas.
We hated it, couldn’t wait to leave the island. Swimming with cigarette butts and rubbish.. food is bad and I would say expensive compare to great restaurant in Hoi An for example
Hard no! Dirty and underwhelming
Yes it’s full of happy, courteous, respectful and friendly Russians.
Been there once. Will not return. Much prettier places to go in Vietnam.
Would not recommend. Mainland Vietnam so much better. Its dirty beaches aren’t great and not what the pictures portray.
4 days seems appropriate for us. 1 day trip with scuba diving and 1 day to visit the cable car. We didn’t though as it seemed very pricey, we could only find tickets with water world included for 800.000 d. A few days at the beach/pool is enough for us. But it is a lovely island to relax. Only one annoing thing: all the massage ladies trying to catch custumers walking by.
Just spent a week there and would have been fine with 3 days. 😔
Not interesting, Thai islands a lot better…
Its way overdone, try Con Dao
