Going to Vietnam at april 30th, Touch down in HCMC May 1st. Not worried.
The veitnam war is over since the 60s
Travelling from Australia mid April, so no problems apart from the fuel shortage . I heard we had 20 days of jet/plane fuel on hand

Direct flights from Europe no problem because the route is over Turkey, Pakistan, India, only the flights over the Golf region can be a problem.. (( but in April the war is over anyway
