It’s interesting for the cultural experience — colorful, live music, and short so it doesn’t drag. Best place is Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre near Hoan Kiem Lake, just book in advance because it gets busy.
I thought it was great. Very entertaining and live music was wonderful.
Take a pillow in case you fall asleep. Sat thru it once years ago, frankly I’d rather have my toenails ripped out. !
Yes, surprisingly entertaining! I wouldn’t get an audio guide, it’s pretty self explanatory. Take ear plugs, I found it way too loud.
It was quite funny in places. We bought tickets on the day.
