How do you break large bills? One ATM only gave me 500,000 bills.

How do you break large bills? One ATM only gave me 500,000 bills. I did go inside the bank and they exchanged one bill for smaller ones but it was a long wait. I would just feel weird trying to pay for a drink or something small with such a large bill.

A good meal for 2 is 3-400,000. Don’t worry it flies fast!

I often go to a 7’11 store or mini mart and get a small item and give them 500,000 but go mid morning or afternoon

Any place that you can spend 50k, they can break a 500k bill easily. If you spend less and they don’t have change, it’s a common practice for them to go to the neighbors to get change.

500k is not so large, go into a Win Mart, a supermarket, to break it.

Wow! That’s all I can say: grocery items (example: bottled ice tea, pastry, cup of noodles)from Mini Shop cost roughly 400,000 dong! If you buy those, you will have some change!

Grocery stores, hotels, banks, convenience stores, restaurants, etc. Remember 500k is only $19usd it’s not a hundred dollar bill.

For anything that costs over 100k I’ve just been paying with a 500. Noone bats an eye.

What would you do if in the USA an ATM only gave you 20’s and you needed change. 500,000 is a 20.
