Hopefully someone can help me answer this question or ask a grab driver for me if you are currently in VN. We are a family of 5. We will be traveling with a 5 yr old/ toddler size. Considering that a regular Sedan can only seat 5 people, can we have the toddler sit on our lap in a regular sedan for local travel within the city or is there a spot on any of the taxi apps for us to request a van. Not sure what the rules are in VN. Thanks in advance.

If you are a family of 5, a sedan would be a tight squeeze as 5 includes the driver. Go for the 7 seater option. And yes, baby can sit on your lap – i do recommend using the seat belt too.

Grab has a 6 seater option.
We have a 2-1/2 year old and lap is probably fine, maybe preferable. Definitely order the biggest car you can. Sadly it doesn’t seem like they have minivans and the 3rd row SUVs are not spacious in the back seat or cargo.
These would be your options with grab but they have many many drivers for hire in the different groups they usually will drop their flyer WhatsApp etc hope this helps also there is greensm app like grab but same
