Hi, unsure if we need a visa for Vietnam , hearing conflicting comments yes and no. A definite answer would be appreciated, or details where we can find out. Many thanks.

British passport, no visa required if staying in Vietnam less than 45 days.
What about coming from Ireland. Do I need a visa please.
it is too easy to just check with vietnam visa gov site, right?
By the looks of it you’re from the UK? Then no you do not. You’re visa exempt for 45 days.
I hold an Italian passport and live in the UK for the last 30 years
If youre a uk passport holder with at least 6mths validity on arrival in Vietnam and 2 clear pages then as a tourist for upto 45days you do not require a visa
We did not to have a visa to go Vietnam as your exemp for 45 days & more.
I’m off to Vietnam next month, but crossing a land border from Cambodia. I’m a UK passport holder and have been told I must show my evisa before getting on the bus. I think it’s so we don’t take too long to cross the border. Otherwise queue is hours long and bus won’t wait. If you fly in to Vietnam via an international airport you can get a visa for 45 days as a tourist.
Are you from the uk ? Then no you don’t
