Meritel Hanoi is amazing refreshing pool, comfy beds, great location, nice roof top bar 🍸 with delicious cocktail, breakfast is very varied and delicious, staff are brilliant stayed at Tirant, Le Mejer, golden legend, la siesta but the Meritel wins everytime stayed there more than once and have booked again

I’ve stayed at the Bonsella hotel several times and although there isn’t a pool it is fabulous. The Tirant is also really nice and that does have a pool, although we didn’t use it once as there is too much to see and do in Hanoi. We’ve stayed at other hotels there but these 2 would be my pick.

Le Château is amazing. Right in the heart of the Old City but rooms are quiet and peaceful. Has a pool and probably quicker to walk anywhere than to use a Grab. Traffic is manic. We used rickshaws just for the fun of it but not one Grab while there.

We stayed at Kecho Legacy & loved it (larger corner room) – it is totally our style, but not for everyone (quirky & antiquey with lots of character & charm but not your “standard”).
