Hi, how do you book for Ha Long Bay?

Hi, how do you book for Ha Long Bay? Booking.com or through an agency? It seems a few boats are already booked out for the date I want in March so I dont want to leave it until I am in Hanoi to book. I have been looking on booking.com at Le Journey, Amanda cruises and La Regina, any advice on which one to take (or a better option). Thank you in advance 🙏

Is it worth spending a night or 2 there? Is there much to do there?

I went on Dragon Legend which is run by Indo-China Junk cruises. We did a 2 night 3 day cruise. Exceptional from start to finish. I booked direct with them. Paid a deposit on their payment link and the remainder on the day we boarded. Price includes transfer to and from Hanoi in luxury minibuses (reclining seats with massaging function!). Very organised AC waiting lounge. Cabin very nice. Food exceptional and so much of it! Services of a guide throughout who was very good indeed and all in all they delivered and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. It was about £600 for two of us but worth every penny! I don’t know anything about the boats you mention in your post though, sorry!

We booked through our hotel we are going to be staying at . They did it all and we paid a deposit and will pay the rest on arrival. There was not a lot left when we booked as we also going in March. Best of luck.

We booked our cruise with Doris Cruise through Agoda after comparing prices across various websites. They offered a great option for our budget, dietary needs, and desired activities. We also spoke to Halongbaytours, who price matched Agoda, but couldn’t match the 10% cashback we got using Shopback. So, we booked through Agoda and got a better deal. Tip: Always check cashback sites like Shopback or Top Cashback for additional savings!
