Hi gang. Im travelling north to south & considering whether to visit both Hue and Hoi An or maybe just one of those? Im keen for beach time so thinking of Lang Co. Im looking for advice on the best spots in this general area. Im not super keen on big cities (i found Hanoi overwhelming). I prefer smaller beaches to huge expanses of sand. And im on a fairly tight budget (staying in hostels & cheap homestays). Thanks for any advice 🙏🏽

I went to hue for five days last year probably one day too many.
Same! We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed Hue as well and wish we’d planned more time there.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time in both places. Hue was wonderful to explore the history of Vietnam and we found was less touristy than Hoi An. Hoi A was pretty with the lanterns and busy with tourists. Would recommend doing both if you can.
Hello would you like to meet up somewhere along the way?
Try exploring Hai Van Pass by motorbike, passing through Lap An Lagoon, Waterfall, Ancient Village, beach fishing village, Marble Mountains, and spending a full day in Hoi An. Contact me so I can help you have a fantastic tour day.
Don’t miss Lang Co, Bach Ma National Park.
Lang Co is in between Hue & Da Nang. It’s beautiful but has nothing to do except the beaches. If you wanna try different activities i sugggest to visit Hoi An. Cua Dai beach is near to the Old Quarter of Hoi An. The hostels are affodable tho.
