Hi all newby here, bit of a strange question….. will be travelling to Vietnam in late March and will be there for Easter Sunday. Just wondering do they sell Easter eggs in Vietnam as I have a child who will be looking forward to his Easter egg? So trying to plan and I don’t want to have to bring one with me as it probably get broken or melt lol thanks all

Um buy mini Cadbury eggs and bring them to VN with you. Since they have a hard coating, they probably won’t melt.
Our kids only care for the “hunt” so make some paper ones together and hide them for hunting. The back can say the prize that you can hunt to find/buy where-ever city you are in.
I would bring some plastic ones. Easter is not a thing in VN like Christmas.
Oh boy.
Eastern festival is unknown in Vietnam 🇻🇳 Therfore you should prepare something at home.
You could always get him a century egg? 😬
Carole Moran here in HCMC you can probably buy it at Annam (they have some Easter bunnies) or you can buy it from Peppe’s Forno
Surely it’s far more important for your child to learn about other cultures than to receive chocolate in a specific shape on a certain day.
In Vietnam, you can find them for sale when you visit Catholic churches in central Hanoi on Easter Sunday. They are not available outside of these churches.
