Phong Nha and Tam Coc are good places. So is Cat Ba island but up north!

Fave place was Ninh Binh for a couple days. We stayed 15 min bike ride away from tam coc in Trang an. Lots of remote and cute bungalows on the water and limestone mountains. U can go to the boat rides with a lot of tourists or more remote ones like van long boat ride and see monkeys!

Nha trang is an easy run and quite scenic through the mountains (as long as you don’t get the same terrifying driver that we had). In nha trang, there’s a little island called Hon Tam with a little resort, it’s detached from the main chaos of the city but you can easily get back in with a shuttle ferry and bus..
Phong Nha and Tam Coc. Or stay at the riverside area 10 mins cycle to Hoi An.
From Da Lat to Nha Trang, Nha Trang to Quy Nhon ( both place – beach). From Quy Nhon to Hue, Hue to Da Nang.
