No guarantees on fast track times but we used it entering Hanoi and leaving Saigon. Probably saved us an hour at both airports. At Hanoi we landed at the same time as 5 other international flights mid February and Saigon it was just chaos in departures . Used a company from get your guide they were excellent. As others have said Grab is set up to your card including the tipping. Enjoy it’s a fabulous country

I’m arriving on 01/03 into HOMC and we would like to do the jeep half a day tour and the night time food and beer moped tour. Who is the best to book these with, I have ever seen them on trip adviser. Yx

For the fast track, at 11am, it can be hit or miss; sometimes it’s quiet, sometimes the regular line is huge. Personally, I’d skip buying it ahead of time and just check the line when you land. If it looks brutal, you can often book it via a kiosk right there.

Change £s for dong at the airport exchange booths, the rate is not so bad.

Arriving on a Sunday morning @10am there was no need for Fast Trak auppprt…no queues anywhere.

We are also from the UK and arrived in HCM last Thursday at 1pm. I’d read loads of articles about fast track and Sims like you! In the end we didn’t get fast track and I’m so glad we didn’t as we were through security, picked up our bags and were in the hotel car within 40 mins of landing (other Brits had paid for fast track and we got through at the same time). We bought our Sims from Viettal shop. £6 for 30 days- but if you can’t be bothered finding a shop, there’s loads of people selling them in the airport. Have fun!!

Airalo seems to work well as e-Sim here. I have Yo and don’t like Sa Pa but fine everywhere else. Daughter has Airalo and worked well everywhere.
