Hello fellow Aussies, for anybody who is in Ninh Binh or Sapa right now, how cold is it really? Yes, I know I can Google the weather forecast, but from my experience living in a few different countries, how cold 18C is in one country can really feel different in another. I understand layers is a good idea. Are you needing winter clothing like puffer jackets right now, or has Aussie autumn attire (light jacket, jumper) been sufficient? Have you had to wear really warm sleep attire or is light long cotton pjs be sufficient? Many thanks for your help 🙂

I have never needed anymore than a light jacket.
Not too bad in Sa Pa at the moment, light jacket during the day is ok
In Ninh Binh now. Just need a light jacket – very similar to our Autumn weather in Australia
Good question we are currently in Hoi An and whilst not cold it’s a lot cooler than April was for us last year. Also drizzly on and off every day over the past 4 days. We are headed nth tomorrow so interested to hear how it is up there also.
