Has anyone from Australia had dental work done in Vietnam? If so, what was quality like and does Travel Insurance still cover you ? I guess standard would depend on where you go ?

If it’s for emergency treatment you’ll probably find the cost is significantly less than your policy excess.
East rose dental in Ho Chi Minh are great excellent work highly recommend them
My husband had all on fours (lower) and a denture (upper) done last year at East Rose Dental, Ho Chi Minh, and they were fantastic. I got quoted for 4 implants, bridge, veneers etc…$60,000 all up here in Aus, $13,800 in HCM. We don’t have insurance but I can honestly say their work is as good, if not better than here. They pick you up and drive you back to your hotel for every appointment. The service is incredible.
I have been to Australian Dental Clinic several times for major work…crowns and implants. No worries with quality of premisis and work done. Did not let travel ins company know.
Any idea of cost for vaneers ?
I had tons of work done at Australian Dental Clinic: so thrilled and happy. Travel insurance does not cover dental work if you travel there planning it. Travel insurance only covers emergency dental from no pre existing conditions.
I’m heading there tomorrow to have some done, I can let you know later if you like.
Dr Bao in Danang. Root canal. Crowns . Fillings mouth gaurd a small chip. $1400 all up. Amazing
I just had 4 crowns done by Australian dental clinic in hanoi.
Can’t answer the insurance question but the work done at Australian Dental Clinic in Da Nang was exemplary. As good if not better than Australia and I didn’t have a cardiac event when presented with the bill either!
