We submitted the application for our E-Visas several weeks ago and received them without issue. We are scheduled to depart this Friday, and this morning we received the following email:
To complete your application, please proceed with the e-visa fee payment as required to finalize the process.
Your Vietnam e-Visa account information:
Naturally, this is not the entire email, but we definitely made the payment when we initially applied. Is receiving this kind of reminder considered standard procedure?

It’s no scam, more like some glitch in their system…
As noted above, has happened to numerous people, including me. .except I got that email within a day of submitting and paying (got my Evisa few days later)
I got the same email last night, Visa’s paid already and printed.
What is worrying is that this email has all my details with a link to pay. And another link to say change your password. Email comes from [email protected]. I’m definitely not pressing any link. Checked my bank statement, definitely has been paid. Looks like a scam.

Yes exactly the same message with all 5 of us.
This was a problem in July.
Discussed here and in the Vietnam Visa Advice Facebook group.
***If you received the email requesting payment AFTER you’ve already made the payment:
Ignore it.
You will receive the visa, no worries.
First I’ve heard about a belated request for ‘finalisation of payment’.
If you have your visas, and they are all totally correct, I would put it it down to a site glitch, and ignore.
