Current Situation in Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh: Are things being impacted?

We are currently in Hanoi and are planning our trips to Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh, and Sapa. We have Sapa finalized, but the information regarding Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh is quite contradictory. News reports on these locations seem ambiguous, only providing general information—nothing concrete about road conditions, travel safety, or the effects on local tourism services. We would greatly appreciate comments from anyone presently in Ha Long Bay or Ninh Binh. We plan on staying in Tam Coc and are interested in a Ha Long Bay/Lan Ha Bay cruise. Is it worthwhile to proceed with these plans, or should we consider making alternative arrangements?

    Hi, i’m living now in Ha Long, an overnight cruise would be a wise choice, besides the landscapes you can experience lots of exciting activities like kayaking or rowing boat trip, exploring caves or cooking classes on board. It’s definitely worth the try.
