I used Klook to get one and it worked perfectly. I think it was around 12 USD seven days for unlimited data. It gives you step-by-step instructions on how to use and install an eSIM. It will make you feel stupid because it’s so easy.

They would steal the sugar from your coffee if they could! The most corrupt country in Asia in my opinion! 🤷‍♂️😔

I bought an eSIM from the airport. It has 6 GB of internet per day, plus calls and messages, and I also received a Vietnamese phone number.

Don’t use the airport store. Go to any Viettel store when you exit the airport. You get way better price. Sometimes sim cards at the airport aren’t what they are even promised to be, and stopped working after a few days.

I paid 450,000 for 1 month unlimited more than I expected but cheaper than my plan at home and I could contact people on my stop over so its not that bad, just more than i was told it would be

Pretty sure there’s an airport tax on everything everywhere.

How many times has this been discussed?? You gotta do some basic research when visiting a new country and one of the first questions I always search for is regarding sim/esim. Then it’s ’where to get cash’ and ‘best way to get to hotel from airport’

Why didn’t you do a eSIM? I’m confused why people purchase physical cards now..

Get away from the tourist area in any city go with the Moby phone or veitel I just paid 250,000 for 6G plus the phone number for 30 days. That’s only about 10 bucks.
