FYI, Uber doesn’t operate Worldwide. Years ago, it used to, but I guess it couldn’t do well in some Southeast Asia countries, so it sold to Grab.

Grab bought out Uber in Vietnam with Uber owning a part equity in Grab

No more Uber in Vietnam. They used to have Uber, but now Grab replaced Uber.

We have been using Grab for the past week and no issues – very easy and reliable, just don’t interact too much. They like to get you to take their number and they can get a little pushy about a return/future fares. Don’t admit to having any chat platforms like WhatsApp etc and calls and messages don’t work 😁
