Warning to all travelers going through Ho Chi Minh airport. Don’t not waste your money on fastrack be patient to queues do move. Also definantly down use the Jasmine lounge at gate 16. It was rubbish and not worth the money. On a positive note the Saigon grill bar on the first floor was spot on.

What’s the tipping principle in Vietnam?1) You expect good service for the price, and tip only for exceptionally great service, or2) You tip for normal, good service, and only not tip for bad service?Also, what’s the usual percentage?(Please only genuine Vietnam-specific knowledge, not your home customs that you followed also on your vacation.)

I'm sorry if this gets asked all the time . I'm doing my first solo trip to Vietnam for 3 weeks . I'm from the UK, I've managed to save a good wadv of cash (all hotels paid for and some trips) . How do I go about exchanging it ? Am I better off putting it on some kind of card ? Take money out of their ATM ....

Best ATM in HANOI?Does anyone know an ATM in Hanoi that allows large withdrawals with no local fees?I need to withdraw about 25,000,000 VND in one transaction if possible. Just got to Danang and it’s cold and windy. Weather forecasts are all different . Anyone know of a good accurate weather app?Also thought we’d go from here to Hanoi but not if it’s colder there. Will it be too cold to enjoy Halong bay, swim etc?TIA
