People here dont understand the term “Intrepid tour guide”
Let’s live generously. 100$ tip please 😌
We tipped 100,000 to 200,000 dong.
$100k to $500k vietnamese dong… please don’t tip $$$ in your country currency… can I tip you in Vietnamese dong while visiting your country???
Good trip good tip 😀
I really don’t like questions like this—they’re quite sensitive. Most of these questions tend to come from Australian travellers, and you know how it is—tipping isn’t really part of the culture there.
I can’t understand why people ask this question, you take the Vietnamese dong and you transfer it to your currency and then it’s up to you What you think is a fair tip. considering their monthly wage is about 250 AU$300? it shouldn’t be hard to come up with a fair tip..
its not obligatory and no one is forcing no one.. tipping generallyis a sign of appreciation.. if your not happy with the services its okay not to tip.. if your happy its also okay not to tip.. but if you give that will make not just a soul happy but a whole family…
It’s optional but this is our driver on standby for 2 weeks. He deserved good tip.
Our agency said 2$US per person per day for the driver and 5$US per person per day for the guide. That said you can increase of they are outstanding. They make very little money in Vietnam, like 1500$/month.
