Vietnam for sure. Thailand isn’t what it used to be
Just left Thailand fab weather fab people but gone expensive.
Two unique and very interesting countries. And when other people tell you one is better than the other. That’s purely subjective. Both have their good points and bad. I’ve been to both and would recommend both. Do I have a favorite Yes. But you and other people may think the other country is better…. So what I recommend is to pick one and go and enjoy that country for what it’s worth. And then on your next trip go to the other one. You’ll enjoy both countries I guarantee you.
But You have forgotten Laos!… Vietnam would be my next pick… but Laos, with Luang prabang, nong kiaw, namtha and Vang vien (if you are young and adventurous ) is my absolute favourite …
Love Vietnam 100 times better. And much cheaper and better food
I’m Vietnamese so a bit biased.
I have been to both and like both countries a lot. Thailand might be better for beach people.
Been to Thailand three times and am currently in Vietnam. Food and people in both countries are amazing. Alot of construction going on in Vietnam at the moment, but haven’t been hassled to buy stuff as much as I did in Thailand
Absolutely loved both but if I were to return to that part of the world would pick Vietnam because of the amazing food and people.
I’ve been to Thailand :Phuket, Bangkok, Pattaya and Kho Samui. In Vietnam Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue. For me I don’t want comparison i respect each countries cultures…
