This is amazing trip. I would love to do the same. Still trying to trying to work on legal lcense to drive/ride motorcycle there and options.
That’s really impressive. Don’t forget to also join our next community for broader discussion about Vietnam: https://www.facebook.com/groups/vietnam.guides.and.tips
No problem riding with your home country license?
Cool! We bought a bike in HCMC, but went straight to Cambodia on it and drive around there for three months. Now in Laos, having sold it in Siem Reap, but heading back Inti northern Vietnam to buy another bike for three months of Northern Vietnam down to Da Nang. Will check out your videos!
Rode the same route in 2017 with an English friend I met in pai, Reggie. He was suffering from terminal cancer. This trip was one I will never forget. He had this sort of white energy that just went unbothered to everything that was difficult or negative. He said yes to everything, to life! I think Reggie really embodied what Vietnam was all about. Here I am in 2026 about to complete the same route again with my fiancé. We’re doing it for Reggie ❤️
