Hi, how do you book for Ha Long Bay? Booking.com or through an agency? It seems a few boats are already booked out for the date I want in March so I dont want to leave it until I am in Hanoi to book. I have been looking on booking.com at Le Journey, Amanda cruises and La Regina, any advice on which one to take (or a better option). Thank you in advance 🙏

We just did 2 nights on La Regina Grand and it was a highlight of our trip. We found the best rate through an a tour agency – cruiseinhalongbay.com. I read a lot of bad comments on these forums about Halong Bay so wasn’t quite sure what to expect but our family of 4 loved it. And honestly, I think I saw 1 piece of litter in the bay for the entire cruise.

Have a look at Lan Ha Bay. Much better than Ha Long (much less crowded & much cleaner).
We booked by get your guide or viator. But get your guide was great punctual and organized. We used them for halong bay ( luxury cruise with seafood buffet) and Ninh Binh tour both 12 – 14 hrs though 🙄.
