Hey everyone, I’m a bit stuck. I have about 10 days to explore Northern Vietnam and I’m torn between doing the Ha Giang Loop and just exploring Sapa and other surrounding areas. I love nature and adventure, but I’m not a super experienced motorbike rider. Is the Ha Giang Loop too difficult for a beginner? What are your thoughts?

Hi Chloe, the Ha Giang Loop is an incredible experience, but it’s not for the faint of heart, especially if you’re not an experienced rider. A great alternative is to do the loop with a local guide (easy-rider). They drive the bike for you, so you can enjoy the scenery without the stress. Sapa offers breathtaking rice terraces and trekking opportunities if you prefer that. Both are amazing options!
