DAY 1: EXPLORE PHONG NHA CAVE – DARK CAVE

1. 07:30 – 08:00: Pickup from Dong Hoi or Phong Nha by our car and guide.
2. 08:00 – 09:00: Depart for Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.
3. 09:00 – 11:30: Visit Phong Nha Cave, explore the world’s longest underground river, and marvel at the mystical beauty of its unique stalactites.
4. 11:30 – 12:30: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, savoring the specialties of Quang Binh.
5. 12:30 – 13:30: Rest at the restaurant or on the bus.

Day 1

2. 08:00: Starting picking up in Phong Nha area to transfer to the Jungle Boss headquarters for safety briefing
3. 09:00: After the briefing, we will make the 45min-1 hour ride in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park to the trailhead.
4. 10:00: Arrive at the start point of the train and we will exit the road and begin the jungle hike. While walking through the jungle on a small trail with challenging terrains, our guide will teach you about some local plant life, maybe feed you some tasty treats the jungle has to offer and show you some pieces of the minority people’s (the Ruc Ca Roong) culture -the Jungle people who survive off of the jungle resources.
5. 12:00: Reach the top of Wind peak where you can get breezing fresh air. Lunch will be at this peak.
6. 12:30: Keep walking mainly down hill toward Eel fish Slope “Dốc Lươn” which ia quite steep and slippery.
7. 14:00: Arrive at Dốc Lươn for a short break before passing this slope to head to hang Over cave
8. 14:30: Arrive at the entrance of hang Over cave. Gear up to start exploring this 3,2m-long cave. Hang Over begins with a long narrow shaft with various cave formations, growing in size and beauty with each step. Eventually, the team will reach a massive grotto names Massive Attack, filled with amazing stalagmites and stalactites, speleothems (decorations), and beautiful pools.
9. 14:30: Here in the grotto the guide will choose an appropriate location for lunch. After eating some cucumber salad and other snacks next to some amazing cave features you will proceed to the exit of Hang Over
10. 16:00: Exit hang Over cave to reach the doline between hang Over and hang Pygmy. Hang Over and Hang Pygmy was once one large cave that experienced a ceiling collapse, creating 2 caves and a healthy unique jungle inside the cave system! After making the short jungle climb through the doline (the collapse) you will come to the massive chamber of Hang Pygmy.
11. 16:00: Here our guide and porter team will equip you with appropriate abseiling safety gear, brief you on safety procedures, and rig your harness with a fail safe system. Taking turns, one by one everyone in the company will descend into the bottom of the cavern, an 80 meter descent, with 10 meters done via abseiling. Once everyone is safely on the floor of the chamber the group will make a short walk, and turn the corner to the MASSIVE cathedral like entrance of Hang Pygmy.
12. 17:00: Arrive at the main entrance of Pygmy cave, the fourth largest cave in the world where you will set up the campsite at the mouth of the cave. While you are exploring this massive cave, our team of porters will prepare a hardy Vietnamese meal with rice, veggies, soup, and meat. Oh, and customary of Vietnamese culture, rice wine will be included, Cheers!; “Mot Hi Ba Zo!”
13. 18:30: Dinner at the campsite, chill and share story

Day 2

4. 09:30: Say goodbye to Pygmy for the jungle trek. Start trekking out of hang Pygmy entrance to reach different valleys and mountains. This will be a long trek out of the jungle with difficult terrain
5. 10:30: Arrive a “Doc Co” known as grass slope which is quite slippery and steep hill. This hill will kill a lot of energy. If it rains, you may have chance to see some water falls on the way
6. 12:00: Some snack lunch will be provided during the trek
7. 14:00: Arrive at the road to enjoy cold drink before the van arrive and transfer you back to Jungle Boss headquarter.
8. 15:00: Arrive at Jungle Boss headquarter, clean up. Finish the journey

3. 9:00 – 11:00 Explore the upper passage of Tiger cave. This will require a lot of climbs over boulders and passing some river inside the cave
4. 11:30 Arrive at the Swift exit of Tiger cave and trek through the jungle inside the doline between Tiger cave and hang Over the cave
5. 12:00 Picnic lunch at the entrance of hang Over the cave
6. 12:30 Start exploring 3.2 km of hang Over and Pygmy Cave. This will be a long time in the darkness while wandering inside a huge cave
7. 16:00 Arrive at the main entrance of hang Pygmy, 100 m high and wide. Set up the basecamp at this huge entrance
8. 18:00 Dinner at basecamp

Day 3: Come back home

1. 8:00 breakfast and cleaning up camp, you will exit the cave system and begin the half-day trek home

7. The scale is breathtaking, as wooden staircases plunge into a cathedral-like space with vast alien-looking stalagmites and stalactites. Get here early to beat the crowds, as during peak times (early afternoon) tour guides shepherd groups using megaphones.
8. Paradise Cave is about 14km southwest of Son Trach. From the buggie drop-off, it’s a further 600m-plus sweaty climb up to the cave entrance.

Itinerary

Hang Cha Loi

1. 08:00: Our guide will pick you up at the hotel . Depart to visit the Long Dai ferry is the artery traffic point on Ho Chi Minh road.
2. 09:30AM: Come to operating center in Sung village. Here you will be provided with some specialized and necessary equipment for cave exploration such as: flashlight, shoes, gloves…
   – The guide will show you how to use the device, a number of equipment to prepare for your adventure, as well as some principles of cave exploration. Then you will discover Cha Loi cave.
   – Here visitors will be experience many activities like walking, crawling, climbing, swimming to experience the journey more than 4km along in the cave…
3. 1:00PM: You return out of cave and enjoy a lunch
4. 3:00PM: Depart to Hang Coi village where there is a love valley of Bru -Van Kieu people
5. 5:00PM: Set up tents, rest and have a dinner with BBQ style prepared by the company. In the evening, visitors will be able to participate in group games with guides and porters

1. 8:00AM: After breakfast, visitors will learn about the cultural and economic life of Bru-Van Kieu in Hang Coi village

3. 12:00PM: Lunch at Ho Tien / Hang Coi Abyss
