Totally worth it! It would’ve been a shame if I had skipped it. The best museum of that type I’ve ever been to. It’a must!

Yes, very much so, but be prepared to be shocked and if you’re a Yank, embarrassed

I heard Americans say they had no idea of the atrocities committed.. especially younger Americans. Not sure what type of history curriculum they’re taught in school. Some of us here from Europe are old enough to remember the Vietnam (or American) war.

For sure, if you value truth from different perspectives, this place has some eye opening accounts and imagery.

I thought it was a place every American should see. It was hard to see. But we certainly didn’t see the pictures or hear the stories they told in our history books. There are three sides to every story. If you are American, my humble advice would be to go in with an open mind, take away what you want, and at the very least you gain a different perspective

If you appreciate history. Yes. You’ll then understand why Vietnamese people are so fierce and strong.

“Only by understanding the consequences of war can we truly appreciate the value of peace. The War Remnants Museum stands as one of the world’s rare museums dedicated to the memory of war.”

I was shocked when I went there. Yes its 4 floors of anti American propaganda. Then I read a quote by ho chi minh the in inspirational leader. ALL WE WANT TO BE IS A FREE INDEPENDENT NATION. Isn’t that what every nation wants. You open your mind to this concept and you will realize the struggle this nation had to be free.
