Hi, what are you using for travelling back packs rather than using a suitcase. After some recommendations on what works well, eg what brands, size, functionality and material especially. We are heading for 3 weeks this time and moving reasonably often between places which is why a back pack would be more ideal than a small suitcase. Looking to do 3 months in 2-3 years time through South East Asia so have that in mind when buying. I don’t think I would need much more size with how easy it is to buy clothes and have laundry done while away, but would like to factor that into your thoughts from people who have done it before. Thanks in advance— với Samantha Bailey.

My only thought for you is that 99% of people pack way too much stuff. We can tour for a month with just a normal backpack, with a laptop 2 pairs of shoes. When I first started traveling around the world I always came home and realized I didn’t use 75% of what I brought
All 3 of us traveling together have Ospreys this is after many years of trying different types and we all individually have chosen Ospreys fir our 4 month trip.
I have a backpack with wheels contains about 20 kilos with compartments osprey brand love it.
Farpoint 55 Travel Pack – Men’s. A true backpack with a mesh back to keep you cool. The day pack comes off and the 2 become your carry on and personal bag. I’ve had it for 8 years

We have the Osprey Farpoint 40, even the kids have them. They have hip straps and chest straps, making them very stable.
I am a frequent traveller, i do not usually bring lots of clothes if in Thailand, it is convenient and cheaper ,just buy clothes in there.
I have the Osprey 40l Fairview and my husband has the 40 L Farpoint. Travelling for 2.5 months. We bring all quick dry light weight clothing.
We are team Osprey here. We have the Farpoints and Fairviews. 3x 40L, 1x 55L, 3x 15L day packs and one 30L day pack.
I used this to travel from the US to Thailand to Hanoi, phong nha, and hoi an. I definitely recommend it over a rolling suitcase. The streets are too uneven for that. A backpack was perfect!
