   I paid $35 USD for private transfer in a 15 seater van from airport to D1. Had a family of 6 and with a fair amount of luggage and stroller as well. Booked on Agoda. This was just a month ago.

   I booked a taxi through Booking . com and it was priced on the number of passengers. There were only two of us and we paid 500,000 dong to get to district 1. The communication and service were excellent.

   Just over £64 in sterling !! Try getting a cab on the UK, you’d travel less than a couple of miles . Vietnam is cheap , and so is that cab fare
