Hi there, I read that you need to take passport type photos to Vietnam but then I read you don’t. Should I take a few? If so, who wants them?

Where are you from?
Maybe picture for your evisa to enter vietnam. That’s done online. Nothing else
No passport picture needed. I’m here now with my worthless passport photos. You do need a recent pic.
For your e-visa application? Which is done weeks before arriving?
For what?
Yes, please hand out your passport sized photos to everyone you meet. This is a custom and you will be considered incredibly rude if you don’t to it. Even if people dont want your photo, insist until they relent.
I don’t know where you’re reading that. Just google entry requirements for your nationality.
I’ve never heard this, I’m here now. Came from uk. They only need your passport when entering the country or checking into a hotel they take a photo of it. Nothing more.
You do not need extra photos to enter the country, just your valid passport if you’re an EU citizen.
