Hello everyone! Currently in Da Nang and planning to head to Bana Hills tomorrow. We are staying in Hoi An. We thought leaving around 5:30am to arrive around 7:20/7:30 to beat long queues would be a good idea but our Homestay host is suggesting we leave at 7am to arrive after 8am. Everything I’ve read online suggested earlier is better but would love to know what others experiences have been and what they recommend?

Deffo get there for 8am. We had an absolutely fantastic time. Hope u have a clear day. So much to see and do x
If it’s a dull day..dress warm as quite chilly there..they will give you a mack if it is dull hope it’s not…my day was…
So went last week , got there at 8.30, there was lots of people, but honestly it’s very fast paced , so we just kept moving, the 4 seasons buffet was mind blowing, so after that we came back down, which was at about 1pm, super quick
We stayed overnight last night and it was quiet down at the bottom of the cable car at 9am
We also stayed in Hoi an. We left at 7 and arrived there past 8am. And we were still one of the first ones up.
We got there right at 8am. Just follow the flow of people to get to the cable cars as their signage is pretty non existent. Enjoy!

We had hotel breakfast at 6.30am then got a grab from Hoi An. Left later than we wanted to so didn’t arrive till about 8.40am Took about 1.5 hrs and the grab driver will wait all day for you whatever the time. Most do not want to go one way only from Hoi An, they’d prefer to wait there and get the fare back. Anyway the queue was totally fine, no problem at all. This was about 8 days ago. Weekdays are better than weekends in general. Once you arrive you get on the shuttle bus to get to the entry, short ride.
These comments are so helpful thank you as this is something we want to be doing in a few weeks now. I like the idea of the grab driver waiting…didn’t know that was a thing and it answers my question about how to get a Grab back to our hotel…..however, did you guys book tickets to Bana Hills prior or do you book tickets when you arrive there. Thanks ☺️
We arrived at 9.15am and had no problem going straight in.
