Dear all at the moment we stay in Bai Xep in Binh Ninh. Really beautiful here. What would you recommend: to stay here a few days longer, till after TET or go to Qui Nhon or maybe even try to go to Hue. Anyone who has experience with the TET celebrations and what you consider as the best option?

Should I upload apps like 12Go and grab while still in Canada or should I wait to have a SIM card in Vietnam? I am concerned about the security code that is sometimes sent via text , to your phone number (my cell number won’t work in Vietnam) . Thanks for your input!

Hi all newby here, bit of a strange question….. will be travelling to Vietnam in late March and will be there for Easter Sunday. Just wondering do they sell Easter eggs in Vietnam as I have a child who will be looking forward to his Easter egg? So trying to plan and I don’t want to have to bring one with me as it probably get broken or melt lol...

Heading to HCM on the 20th for a couple of weeks travelling up to Hanoi. All paid for except meals which will be a mix of hotels/restaurants and street. Trying to figure out how much cash to take. Is it correct to assume hotels/restaurants will mostly take card payments so only need cash for street in which case VND preferred to USD?
