Hanoi coffee culture: where do locals actually drink egg coffee?

I have become slightly obsessed with Vietnamese coffee since arriving in Hanoi last week. Egg coffee was a revelation, but I feel like the famous spots in the Old Quarter are 90 percent tourists now.

Where do actual Hanoians go for their morning ca phe? I tried a tiny place near Dong Xuan market this morning where nobody spoke English and the coffee was incredible, cost me 20k. More of that please.

Also is ca phe muoi (salt coffee) originally from Hue or is that just marketing? Had one yesterday and I need to know the lore.
