From 🇻🇳 To 🇰🇭6 DAYS OF “REJUVENATION” IN THE MEKONG: WHERE TIME STANDS STILL People often ask me: “Isn’t traveling the Mekong Delta tiring for seniors?”. I just smile and say: “You go there to feel younger, not older!”. Instead of crowding into noisy flights, I invite my guests onto a speedboat, gliding gracefully down the river from Phnom Penh into Vietnam.Feeling the cool river breeze on your face while watching life along the banks shift as you cross the border. It’s a peaceful transition guided by the Mother River, like a journey back to the nostalgic river memories of the past.A day to “tour the world” right in the Mekong. A Vietnamese pagoda in the morning, the magnificent Khmer temples at noon, and the serene Cham mosque in the afternoon. Walking through it all feels like stepping into a “Thousand and One Nights” fairy tale – truly elegant.I take my guests to “hide” from the world on an isolated islet. Getting here requires waiting for the rustic local ferries – a true “specialty” of the river region. No honking horns here, just the rustling leaves and the gentle smiles of the locals. You’ll truly feel like the only traveler in this hidden land.Experience being a true “landowner.” A leisurely morning stroll through the orchards, and an afternoon picking vegetables for a family meal. The most precious moment is after a hearty lunch – sinking into a hammock under a thatched roof, listening to the wind, and taking a nap. The Mekong hammock has a “magic power”; once you lie down, all exhaustion simply fades away!Waking up to the vibrant rhythm of the floating market. It’s not a tourist trap, but the authentic bustle of trade and the gentle clanking of boats. Sitting on the edge of a boat, sipping a hot bowl of noodles in the early dawn, you’ll feel the true soul of the Mekong. On our final morning, I invite you to wander through orchards heavy with fruit. Take your time picking the sun-ripened, sweet treats. The sweetness of the alluvial soil feels like it’s holding your feet back, making it hard to say goodbye to this peaceful place and return to the noisy city.If this quiet, off-the-beaten-path style of travel is your cup of tea, feel free to ask me anything you’d like to know!😍😍My WhatsApp number is: +84 876 812 031 Email: [email protected]’m very happy to share! ❤
