I recommend L.K SAPA TOUR for car rental with driver in Vietnam. Professional service and safe driving.
Both are good, but Paradise + Dark Cave is more fun for a 9yo. Paradise Cave is easy walking and very impressive, while Dark Cave has zipline, mud bath, kayaking. Vie Travel AI can help you pick the right mix and avoid anything too tiring for kids.
Contact Ben Mitchell he knows everything about that area.
Hello
Didn’t do the multi activity tours so can’t speak to that, but we did do the Duck Stop which was a hoot, and the Phong Nha Cave boat tour ( just as a separate thing) + the hike up to Tien Son Cave. My 11 year old loved it. For the main boat tour part after they paddle through the cave, on the way back they let you off the boat in the cave near the entrance and you wander out through this huge cavern and along a path through the cave to where your boat waits for you on the shore. It was pretty amazing. The entrance fee for phong Nha cave last year when we went was 150,000 VNd per person and the Tien Son Cave 80,000 VND plus the boat was 550,000 VND which you can split with others ( we just went with some people who were in line with us and split the cost, I think it fits up to 12 people.)
Hi below guests,
If you are looking for some experience for you and your kid, i would recommend Phong Nha 4,5km kayaking tuor.
The duck stop is a must for a 9 year old…or any age for that matter we had a good laugh
