Hi, arrived in Da Nang yesterday to miserable weather! Here 10 nights then we move to Hoi An for 9 nights. Do you need a full day to do Ba Na Hills and what is there to do? Do you need a guide or can you visit without one. Advice on what time to get there too would be appreciated. Also thinking of a day out to Hue. Any advice would be welcome.

We went early to get to bridge and spent full day . We in our 60s. So a bit slower for us loved it
Bana Hill is a huge theme park & there are many activities you can take part in eg the alpine coaster (you have to pay), & many other activities which are free. Performances at scheduled time. By 4.30pm (if I am not wrong), you need to take the cable car down, unless you stay there.
Sandra Tickle There’s quite a bit to see, the Golden Bridge, cable cars, a little French style village, gardens and temples. It can get busy, so going early is a good idea.
A must to go early
Went to Ba Na Hills today.
Be at Ba Na early!! It is a weird place that had to be seen though:-) We did 7 nights in Da Nang, kinda 4 to many, but thats us, a lot of great restaurants but apart from MyKhe beach area there is actually little to do, the markets are same same so if you are into buying cheap clothes visit one.
