I’m moving my way up to Hanoi, in HCMC there is the Ben Than market, is there anywhere in Hanoi that is similar, selling the usual ‘branded’ trainers etc?

   Go to the Hanoi old town, there are streets full of shops specialising in ‘branded’ items.

   Yes, in Hanoi the closest place is Dong Xuan Market or the Old Quarter night market. You can also find many “branded” sneakers and clothes there. The quality varies – some are cheap copies, some are decent replicas.
