My evisa got approved on my 1st try within 3 business days🎉🤩! I was so nervous reading all the posts in this group on others’ applications being denied and failed attempts on providing additional information. Sharing what I did below so hopefully the information can help anyone else in this group who is stressing out about their applications.1. Preparation in advance: I gathered all the information I needed prior to starting the application so I could put in everything correctly and quickly once I start the application as there’s a time limit. This was in the form of an Excel spreadsheet including all the information I needed to provide: My accommodation address in Vietnamese, the name of the airport I’m flying in and out of, the city, province, ward, etc. That way when it came to completing the application, I was simply copying and pasting to avoid typos and to save loads of time. I also had the step by step help guide provided by the Vietnam immigration office (under “Information” in the drop down menu on the main page) in a separate browser so I can refer to it as I fill my application. I have two monitors and made use of it by having my application on one monitor, and my Excel spreadsheet and help guide up on the other monitor. I used Chrome. 2. Passport photo: I put on a nice dress shirt and took a headshot selfie using my iPhone. I stood against a wall that was off white and made sure the lighting was good so my picture is very clear. I tried my best to match my facial expression to the same as my passport photo and even my hair style too (where my hair parted). I took multiple photos and selected the one that was a closest match to upload. Mine ended up being a 75% match while my partner’s was 87%. 3. Information Provided: As mentioned previously, there is a step by step guide with pictures on the official website. Click on “Information” in the menu. I copied what I could from the instructions and sample pictures as applicable for myself. For example, I am not religious and wasn’t sure what to put down (Not religious? No religion? Not applicable?). I noticed the sample application simply had “no” for that field so I matched my answer to the sample. I did not edit any information that was automatically filled after I uploaded a picture of my passport. I just verified it was all correct. 4. Dates of Entry: I read on a post that it was safer and acceptable to put in dates a few days before and after your scheduled booked flights in case of flight changes – especially if it’s a single entry visa. I did this and it was not an issue. 5. Intended Date of Entry: I provided my actual date of entry as per my flight ticket. As I’m flying from quite far away, this ended up being two days after my flight departs. I entered the actual date I land in Vietnam and this was reflected on the visa issued to me. 6. Payment: After I submitted my application, I received two emails: One confirming my application had been successfully submitted and the other asking for payment. I paid right away and received a third email once the payment went through. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask questions if I missed anything!— đang cảm thấy thành công.

Now triple check it for errors
What says it your Visa when your approved, does it says “Acceptance “
Apply for 30 days…same charge and covered for flight changes
I can’t get my photos to upload at all, personal or passport.
Did you put your first and second name in the same order as the application form. Some comments seem to suggest middle name first, first name second
I processed mine and my wife’s separately and pretty much used the same process as you…I too received approvals on both submissions on the first try. Some of the exact information requested can be a little confusing but ChatGPT helped clarify and it worked.
A little trick I used for the photo. Used a selfie I already had that seemed to fit parameters. Then I put it into Chatgpt and had the background made white. Tada! All good and processed in less than a week. I also applied for the full month, even though my trip is only 16 days. Just in case.
I had a few issues with ours especially down loading photo of passport kept saying more than 2MB. So finally got there and it froze on the payment. So checked on my credit card didn’t go through, so here we go again this time all was good went through. Then I did my wife’s and daughters and they were all good. Then 2 days later got email to pay for evisa which i have receipt for and emailed them to say that. So I checked progress 2 days later and they said names not correct ( I left out my middle name ) so I fixed that and saved it and then it came up Processing. I think what happened with asking for payment was my first attempt did go through but no payment. I keep checking but mine still says processing. 2 days ago my wife and daughter were approved and I’m still waiting for mine. My concern is that it won’t go through because I left out my middle name. Has anyone else done similar and it turned out ok?
Submitted ours on a Sunday evening US east coast time and got them back on Thursday evening
Same! I did that as well and no issues!
