water….i really dont want to buy hundreds of plastic water bottles and hate the taste of purification tablets…..what did you do? filter?

Buy a bottle or bring one and fill it from the big bottles at every hotel. A 20l bottle costs $1 so they are available everywhere, also just keep putting ice in it for free purified water.
Brought my stainless water bottle and filled from glass hotel water bottles in our room.
I boil it in a kettle. We also have a katadyn gravity filter as a backup but haven’t had to use it
