   I think all of the private companies are almost the same. We wanted Lámán Express, but it was fully booked through baloaou, so we took Violet and it was great experience. Don’t expect much, the berth are hard, but my kids told me they never slept better. ❤️

   I did the same trip with Violette last week. Sleeper. Terrible. Noisy, cramped and constant carriage movement. Didn’t sleep.

   I am literally on the Lotus Train as I read your post! We (married couple) got a 2 berth which is private. It’s not the Hilton but it’s fine! Take it for what it is, an adventure! Recommend you eat dinner before you leave, the food is pretty limited, but they give you a breakfast pack which is good. Don’t know about others, but Lotus is a 👍
