I know this has been posted 10 thousand times but ive tried to find the answer for my exact question and I cannot.FAST TRACK – we are arriving at HCMC at 9pm then heading to Thailand the next day before coming back a week later around 4pm. Are we better off getting fast track for the 9pm flight or the 4pm flight in? I assume 4pm will be busier? I dont want to due both due to cost (We arent flying direct to Thailand because we bought these tickets cheap a year ago before deciding we wanted to spend a week in Thailand)

I spent almost two 2 hours just to pass immigration when LEAVING Saigon the 10th of Feb. I am avoiding that airport from now on
This was 9 AM
we arrived at around 4pm and took us about 45 minutes, but when i look behind the queue there was at least 100 people behind us, i think the other flight just landed right after us, its a luck game i think
I think everyone has a different experience. Kept telling my husband how bad it could be and the worst we had was 30mins getting into Bangkok and think that was just because our flight arrived slightly late so we were the tail end of those arrivals. We may have been lucky but had 9 flights in total. The traffic in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand way worse
Unless you have another connecting flight in less than 3 hours, you won’t “need” it for either flight.
Fast Track is not worth it
Both will be busy
We were told immigration is busiest between 6pm and 10pm – we landed 2 evenings ago at 8pm and it was empty – so glad we spend money on fast track!
