Hi, how do you book for Ha Long Bay? Booking.com or through an agency? It seems a few boats are already booked out for the date I want in March so I dont want to leave it until I am in Hanoi to book. I have been looking on booking.com at Le Journey, Amanda cruises and La Regina, any advice on which one to take (or a better option). Thank you in advance 🙏

We booked twice on Agoda and had no issues . Make sure to get the transportation to the boat and back. Its chaotic. All the big boats are pretty much the same with identical itineraries. Pick the boat with the best room/price and reviews

We booked our cruise with Doris Cruise through Agoda after comparing prices across various websites. They offered a great option for our budget, dietary needs, and desired activities. We booked by get your guide or viator. But get your guide was great punctual and organized. We used them for halong bay ( luxury cruise with seafood buffet) and Ninh Binh tour both 12 – 14 hrs though 🙄.
Have a look at Lan Ha Bay. Much better than Ha Long (much less crowded & much cleaner).
