Got two questions. Visiting da nang Vietnam from USA for the first time. I want to get veneers I see you can get them done by a dental office for around $2,500 USD.
Does a dental clinic take Visa or MasterCard or should I take all that cash with me to pay them? If they take Visa and MasterCard I don’t want to pay the 3% or 4% fee and be on the hook for hundreds of dollars for a fee either.
Second question is I have T-Mobile should I call T-Mobile to let them know I’m going to Vietnam so they can turn on international on my plan and everything will work perfectly or does it not work that way I need to get a SIM card from a Vietnamese place and pay them a monthly fee to have data service?

I have a full pay plan w Verizon. International calling is included. I do nothing. All is just like in the states. No Sim, no notifications. Smooth service. I connect to wifi where I settle.. staying in an apartment for the week I am here in HCMC.

Math please, the max fee would be $100.00 based on what you stated, a premimium card costs a business up to 3.5% surcharge

I would still get an e sim because it’s cheap and faster than t mobile in my experience. Bringing cash and losing a little on exchange rate may be the same as using credit card and getting a better exchange rate.

Get an e-sim. We used Airolo — worked well and not expensive.

Does anyone ever do simple Google research? If you have T-Mobile call them. Each phone plan has different perks.
