Hi everyone, my wife and I are planning a two-night stay in the Ninh Binh area, but I’m quite lost as to where we should book our accommodation. Based on our research, staying within walking distance of Tam Coc seems like the best choice. We are hoping for a serene and picturesque homestay or boutique hotel, ideally located close enough to walk to the village for meals. Nevertheless, I’ve encountered numerous conflicting reviews. I’m struggling to decide which specific place to choose. Would anyone be kind enough to offer some strong recommendations? Many thanks.

We just have been to Ninh Binh and we stayed at liberty hall tam coc hotel and villa. Really nice location next to a rice field and really near to tam coc. They have free bicycles and really comfortable beds and the breakfast is good. If you want you can check out our YouTube channel (The Traveling Bears) we will post the ninh Binh video in two weeks. Have fun in Ninh Binh it’s an amazing region in vietnam.
I stayed in Tam Coc for 2 nights. Definitely recommend there rather than Ninh Binh city centre. We were at the Tam Coc.Orchid Hotel which is about 15 minute walk from the heart of Tam Coc but meant a little bit quieter from the tourist crowds. We did one night visit into Ninh Binh to see the night markets.
Tourists always choose Tam Coc area as the base of accommodation which is very convenient for accessing the sites, bars, restaurants etc.
Highly recommend Tam Coc Wonderland Lodge – quiet snd beautiful location but easily walkable to town.

It has an out door pool ..we had massages every night and they were amazing hosts, especially
when I became ill day 3.
It has air con…ensuite and a huge bed…
They loan out bicycles to ride into town..I have no idea how far as we were exhausted..stayed put in the evening.

Tam Coc is a village in Ninh Binh Province, and the tourism epicenter.
If you search Google Maps for Tam Coc you should be able to easily find the lake which is more or less the village center.
You will also see many accommodations and restaurants on Gmaps.
There are many posts here on the topic with accommodation suggestions from forum members.
If you can narrow your search down to a few properties, folks can give you feedback.
