Sleeper Coaches Equipped with Restroom Amenities

We are planning to take the following overnight sleeper bus routes during our trip to Vietnam this December:

Ninh Binh to Hue

Hoi An to Mui Ne

I am hoping to get information on which specific bus companies or services include onboard toilet facilities? This detail is unclear from online sources, and I’ve heard that overnight sleeper journeys often rely on frequent comfort breaks rather than actual toilets inside the bus.

Thank you.

I was going to say that some travellers want/need to do it on a tight budget and backpackers have been using these buses for nearly 30 years.

Then I read the OP’s last post asking about The Radisson in Mui Ne.

Can probably afford a better class of travel than buses.

@SimonPedal Hi – we’re by no means on a backpacker budget or anything like that, but thought the trains were expensive in comparison to a sleeper bus… until I read that there are sometimes no toilets on the buses which did make me think a little.

Anyway, maybe trains are the way forward, where feasible of course. Thanks for all the replies.

Long distance road travel in Vietnam, night or day, is often not an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Give up the idea of sleeper buses, and their lack of toilets.

The lack of toilets is actually the least of your worries.

    Just get the train.

    Or fly.
